The Foundation

1121 Steam Rice (Chilled)3 Cups
Fresh Garlic (Minced)4 Tbsp
Dry Red Chilli Paste2 Tbsp

The Sizzle Method

01.

Garlic Infusion

Heat oil and add minced garlic. Sauté until golden brown to create a deep, nutty base flavor for the rice.

The Chilli Base

Add the red chilli paste and cook for 30 seconds until the oil separates and turns a bright, fiery red.

03.

Grain Integration

Toss in the 1121 Steam Basmati. We use Steam rice here as its surface absorbs the spicy garlic oil perfectly without becoming sticky.

04.

High Heat Finish

Add seasonings and toss on high heat for 2 minutes. Garnish with fresh spring onions and serve hot.
