The Flash-Fry Method

The Smoking Wok

Heat your wok until it starts to smoke. Swirl in oil. Add the garlic and sauté for 10 seconds—it should turn golden but not burnt to infuse the oil with flavor.

Vegetable Sauté

Toss in your finely minced carrots, beans, and cabbage. Sauté on the highest possible heat for 1 minute. We want them crunchy, not soft.

The Rice Throw

Add the chilled 1121 Sella Basmati. Break any clumps with the back of the spatula. This rice is built for this—it won't break under the pressure of the stir-fry.

The Seasoning Swirl

Pour the soy sauce and vinegar around the edges of the wok. This caramelizes the sauce instantly, creating that signature smoky "Wok Hei" flavor.
